Passionfruit Lemonade with Rose Hips

Summer’s a breeze when you’ve got a cool glass of this tropical passionfruit lemonade with rose hips in hand. Both passionfruit and rose hips provide their own tart, citrus taste so you can skip the lemons in this recipe. Served over ice, it’s fruity, floral and every bit as refreshing as it sounds.

Rose Hips Syrup

preparation

  • 4 tea bags of rose hips
  • 200 g water
  • 150 g granulated sugar

Bring the water to a boil in a small sauce pot and add the rose hips tea bags. Allow the tea to infuse for at least 10 minutes.

Next, pour out 150 grams of the rose hips infusion. Return the infusion to the stove and reheat. Add the sugar and stir until it has completely dissolved. Cool and reserve.
